By plane:
The airport Girona – Costa Brava is placed 15 kilometers away from the city. To arrive to the airport, the best way is through the roadway called N-II.
The company operating more flights from the Girona Airport is Ryanair. However, this is not the only one, many other companies operate from this airport with less frequency.
SAGALÉS is a bus company the regularly connects the airport with Girona (aproximately every hour from 5 am to 10 pm) and Barcelona.
There's also a car renting service or taxi services that will take you to the city at any time (for about 25€).
For those going to the airport by car, there are two parkings. The one's from AENA (more close to the airport but more expensive) and the Punt central (more cheaper but a bit more far).
Another option to arrive to Girona is through the Airport of Barcelona – El Prat. However, this airport is located hundred kilometers farer.
By Train:
Girona is an stop from the intarnational trains going from Madrid or Valencia to Paris or Geneba. These two links, as well as those coming the Levante, Andalucia, the cantabrian coast and Galicia; are made through Barcelona. Aproximately, there are trains connecting the cities of Girona and Barcelona every half an hour or every hour from 6 am to 10 pm. There are three kind of trains: the fast and comfortables (Media Distancia and Catalunya Exprés, taking 1 hour and 15 minutes) and the slower, less comfortable and stoping in each station (Regional taking 1 hour and 30 minutes).

By Bus:
The bus station of Girona is located next to the train station (Telephone number: 972.21.23.19). It is well connected with all the villages and cities of the province. It has a bar, news stand and other services.
